Level 9

Level 9 consists of the County Leagues. There are fourteen separate divisions over the country, each focussing on a specific area.

Relegation from the County Leagues go down to the divisions at Level 10.

Combined Counties League Premier Division

Eastern Counties League Premier Division

Essex Senior League

36 games (play each other once home and away)
One automatic promotion place to the Isthmian League Division One North
Two relegations to the Essex Intermediate League
They participate in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy and the Essex Senior League Cup

Hellenic League Premier Division

20 teams
38 games (play each other once home and away)
One automatic promotion place to the Southern League Division One Central
Two relegations to the Hellenic League Division One East and two relegations to the Hellenic League Division One West
They participate in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup and the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup

Kent Football League

Midland Football Alliance

42 games (play each other once home and away)
One automatic promotion place to the Northern Premier League Division One South
One relegation to the Midland Combination Premier Division and one relegation to the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division
They participate in the Midland Alliance League Cup

Northern League Division One

Northern Counties East League Premier Division

42 games (play each other once home and away)
One automatic promotion place to the Northern Premier League Division One South
Two relegations to the Northern Counties East League Division One and one relegation to the East Midlands Counties League
They participate in the Northern Counties East League Cup

North West Counties League Premier Division

Cup Competitions

FA Cup

All teams compete (see National Cups page for structure) and join at the Extra Preliminary Round
Final takes place at Wembley
Match is replayed if the first tie is a draw
If the replay is still level at 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time and if still level, a penalty shoot-out will decide the winner

FA Vase

All teams compete (see National Cups page for structure) and join at the First Qualifying Round
Final takes place at Wembley
If the tie is still level at 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time and if still level, a penalty shoot-out will decide the winner

League Cup Competitions

All teams compete in their respective league cup competition
Final takes place at a neutral venue
